IPS developed rider-less, full Vehicle Test Stand (vts) Systems for a motorcycle manufacturer.

The completely automated test stands offer consistency and repeatability of full vehicle power-train testing. The VTS systems - which are computer controlled - simulate real-life riding conditions and provide automatic testing of power-trains under various conditions of speed, distance, load (hills, drag, etc.), and engine cooling. Duty cycles may be adjusted or repeated as necessary to provide design engineers with comparison data on different components, allowing them to identify the best solution to problems faster than their previous methods.

IPS provided several manufacturing information systems for this automobile manufacturer's assembly facility.

IPS utilized its Web-based Reporting knowledge and developed a solution which allowed this company to carefully monitor real-time production rates and efficiencies of all plant areas.

It is critical that wheel assemblies delivered to the plant be accurately conveyed to the correct vehicle for installation. The proper operation of the vehicle paint system is essential for the protection and appearance of the vehicle. IPS developed a system which collects and reports data regarding paint system malfunctions and downtimes to help maintenance and management eliminate problems.
