Whether the task is developing PLC code, special purpose processor code, MMIs, or a complex database application, our approach is methodical and structured. IPS adopts accepted and proven software engineering techniques to provide not only applications that work but also are efficient and well documented. We do not simply "throw code" at an application until it works. Objected Oriented Programming Computer software is developed using visual and object oriented development tools, configurable HMI packages, and database development tools such as SQL Server, Oracle and Access.
PLC Programming PLC programs are developed in traditional ladder logic or IEC 1131 based instructions.
Custom PLC and computer software are modularly tested, integrated and tested again to ensure that the requirements of the functional spec are achieved. In addition, safety and adaptability to withstand operator errors, machine faults, out of bounds data, communication faults, power loss situations and other "what if" scenarios are also phases of our test procedures. Web-based Reporting Our Web-based reporting services take advantage of your plant-wide intranet to provide real-time information from the plant floor to the computer screens of managers and supervisors. This enables production problem areas to be accurately identified and quickly corrected. The effectiveness of this approach is maximized by the accelerated learning curve of the end user. The information is displayed in the web browser, a familiar computing environment for authorized employees, eliminating the need of specialized training. We expect the unexpected, so you dont have to. |
