Overview
The AccuRider provides the level of accuracy and repeatability necessary for riding aggressive
emissions tests such as the World-wide Harmonized Motorcycle Emissions Test Cycle (WMTC). In
addition, due to the long history and extensive development of IPS robot riders for durability testing,
the AccuRider is robustly constructed for your powertrain durability testing on chassis dynamometers.
Like a human rider, the AccuRider sits on the motorcycle with set up times of 10 minutes or less.
Servo control of the throttle, clutch, shifter and brake insure accurate control of user defined or
prescribed emissions or durability duty cycles.
IPS can provide the AccuRider as part of our PSVTS (Power Sports Vehicle Test Stand) which
includes a chassis dynamometer, data acquisition, test cell and vehicle fueling and cooling systems.
Our AccuRider can also be customized to integrate with your existing chassis dynamometer and
emissions measurement systems.
The AccuRider can be adapted for testing other types of powersports vehicles such as ATVs, UTVs,
small 3 or 4 wheeled vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions.
